What you could be part of…

We are one of the few in-house waste collection services in Norfolk and proud to deliver a service of collection of refuse, recycling and garden waste to the 65,000 properties in the district. This job involves collecting, emptying and returning bins, as part of a crew of three, two loaders and one driver.

What you’ll be doing…

You will provide an efficient reliable waste and recycling collection service to residents and businesses across the district. You will be working as part of a highly visible, public facing team to ensure standards are met and the 82,000 bins across the district are emptied each week.

You must have…

  • the ability to undertake manual lifting and moving the bins.
  • an understanding of the importance of health and safety and the ability to work safely.
  • the desire to work outside in all weather conditions.
  • the ability to create a really good impression on our customers and enhance the reputation of the Council
  • the ability to work as part of a team and to work flexibly to achieve the high standards we set for our services.
