The Vacancy
Supporting the successful viewing and letting of new build rented homes across our developments primarily in Aylesbury and Milton Keynes, may also be required to travel elsewhere including Cambridgeshire and Oxfordshire.
To undertake property viewings, sign-ups and tenancy starts for new build homes. Together with the Customer & Neighbourhood team and the Lettings and Allocations team you will be working with others within the organisation to support the smooth transition of new customers moving into their new home. Your remit will be to review, check and document items, providing flexibility and support to enable the successful letting of new homes. You will be in regular contact with customers providing accurate comprehensive advice, guidance and support throughout the process, including pre-tenancy assessments, viewing and tenancy agreement sign ups. Provision of effective support to the Customer Services team, ensuring there is a smooth transition for the property into day-to-day Neighbourhood (Housing) management.
Our ideal candidate will have/be
experience within a Lettings environment (social housing letting).
familiar with a customer face-to-face environment.
Polite and courteous.
intermediate level of Microsoft applications (predominately Excel and Word).
effective communication skills both verbal & written.
ability to interpret tenancy and legal information.
well organised and accurate with a strong attention to detail.
possess a can-do attitude with a common-sense approach.
full driving licence (preferably clean) and own vehicle (business milage will be paid at the prevailing rate: currently 0.45p per mile (less home to work mileage) up to first 10,000 miles p/a).
