We are delighted to be working with our client based on the outskirts of Portsmouth. With over 20 years in the technology sector, our client prides itself on being one of the largest in its field and due to continued growth, are looking for Vendor Operations Executive to join their team!

Team Purpose

Marketing is responsible for new partner recruitment, existing partner engagement and thru-Partner marketing programs and tools, alongside stewardship of the company’s brand and associated assets.

The Product team is responsible for building, growing, and supporting our client’s product portfolio including the complete product lifecycle and the operational relationship with vendors.

Your Vendor Operations Executive role:

The Vendor Operations Executive role in the Product Team is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day management tasks of Vendors and to own order processes for defined products.

Deliver commercial success and world class partner experiences against the agreed company objectives and aligned with the company’s key strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Timely processing of all received orders.
  • Upload all required documentation for orders into the system and ensure clear communication with customers regarding their orders.
  • Check the backlog report for any outstanding orders pending invoice.
  • Process hardware requests/returns & RMAs as required, ensuring all tracking details are logged.
  • Process invoices received for all orders.
  • Upload SKU requests from sales.
  • Raise all monthly subscription POs for the required Vendors.
  • Create any work instructions/processes for the business and upload onto SharePoint or the Partner Portal.
  • Create ‘Cloud Cover’ certificates for orders that require them.
  • Assist customers and the sales teams with any operational queries, e.g. obtaining delivery costs, lead times on orders, RMAs and Loans – all internal team queries for orders.
  • Assist all staff with ad-hoc tasks as and when appropriate.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills

Essential

  • Minimum one year experience within operations.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple tasks on time.
  • Ability to work in a team environment to achieve individual and company objectives.
  • Competent PC user with strong Microsoft Office suite skills.
  • A keen interest in technology, cybersecurity, the benefit of cloud and how it is helping shape our personal and professional lives.

Desirable

  • Educated to a minimum of Degree level or equivalent experience.
  • Channel and/or Vendor relationship experience
  • Experience working in a technology business.
  • Experience within vendor or product operations

Your Benefits:

  • Starting Salary of £22,000 - £25,000 depending on experience
  • Holidays: 25 days plus bank holidays (or days off in lieu) and birthday day per annum.
  • Additional days leave for birthday per annum is non-contractual details to be provided upon joining.
  • Pension: 4% employer contributions and 4% employee contributions for eligible employees
  • Life Assurance: 4 times salary
