An opportunity exists for a dynamic individual with housing management experience to join our Temporary Accommodation Team on a fixed term basis for 6 months. You are an adaptable person who thrives in a fast paced environment, where no two days are the same.
About the role:
This role is responsible for delivery of a customer focused housing management temporary accommodation service to all our existing and new customers. Working closely with other teams, you will be responsible for the high standard of Customer Service that is responsive to our customer’s needs acting as a key point of liaison. You will deliver the lettings process from void through to letting stage.You will conduct inspections of the environment and proactively manage potential breaches of tenure as well as monitor rent accounts and work with the relevant teams across Neighbourhood Services.
The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar role and will be able to demonstrate relevant experience in:
- Handling conflict, difficult conversations and negotiations professionally and persuasively with customers either face-to-face, by phone or online, including those who may be in difficult and/or emotionally charged situations.
- Understand service performance information and customer feedback about their own performance in order to identify learning and areas of strength/for improvement.
- Write clear and concise letters with a business level of written fluency on complex issues to customers and managers.
- Confidently use Microsoft Office and other ICT systems to input, retrieve, interrogate and present financial, performance and other data.
Due to the nature of the role it is essential that you have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle with business insurance and a basic DBS clearance.
