Telesales Sales Manager

The TeleSales Manager role is responsible for managing a telesales team to drive the targeted new sales billings. In this role you will lead a team of Business Development Managers with a focus on pipeline management, coaching, activity and selling to value. Most of your time will be spent with the team to drive high performance and a high energy culture. You will also need to be confident to make the right decisions to support business growth.


• Manage a team of 5-8 Business Development Managers

• Responsible for achieving monthly team MPAs and sales standards

• Carry out monthly reviews, performance management, on-going training and recruitment for the team

• Work closely with the rest of the commercial department and marketing team to understand changes in requirements and customer needs

• Motivate and engage your team to deliver consistent business results

• Understand and analyse your sales formula to drive improvements and success

• Forecasting accuracy and regularly ensuring sales has a rich and sustainable pipeline

• Ensure that the team is executing on all key tasks and act as a mentor for the team on effective calls

• Continually improve the sales procedures and standards across the team

• Ensure compliance across the team to overall business guidelines and standards

• Resolve any conflict in a successful and timely manner 


• 2+ years of management experience, essential

• 5+ years of experience in Sales or Account Management

• Excellent communication and management skills

• Must be results driven with strong customer focus

• Knowledge of subscription business and renewal contracts

• Strong leadership and coaching skills

• Must be self-motivated and energetic; able to work independently with minimal supervision

• Ability to deal with pressured situations in a fast-moving environment

• Confident in dealing with difficult conversations

• Knowledge of the Construction Industry and how to win work

• Strong negotiation skills
