Following a review of our Quality Function we have created this new role for someone to make their own. We are looking for a candidate that will drive improvements within the supply chain to deliver quality products as per our agreed specifications.
Reporting to the Head of Quality, some areas you will be responsible for are:
- Conducting audits
- Coordinate corrective actions
- Assist with supplier communication and improvement activity.
- Conducting investigations.
- Implement and maintain and audit schedule.
- Support new product development.
- Support senior management.
- Provide support in resolving technical, production and supplier issues.
This role will be incredibly important to our ever growing business and therefore will require a person who is experienced in manufacturing and assembly processes and is familiar with problem solving tools. You will have the ability to interpret technical standards, technical drawings and specifications, with a good understanding of the properties of wood. The ideal candidate will have drive and a passion to continually improve processes and relationships with their key customers. A level of travel will be expected within the UK and globally so a degree of flexibility will be required. But more importantly, is your “can do” attitude and willingness to uphold our Core Values of Respect, Responsibility and Excellence in the workplace.
This role will pay a salary of £25,000 - £32,000 depending upon experience. SCA offers a fantastic pension contribution of up to 10% of your salary and Life assurance x 4 of your basic salary.
