The Vacancy

We are looking for an interim Project Manager, covering maternity leave to join our friendly team who are currently delivering a major transformation programme across Paradigm.

Be a part of our success at a critical stage in our transformation programme which encompasses the implementation of a new Housing Management System (Civica Cx) in the final stages of delivery. We are looking for someone to join the team who is focused on execution and delivery, wanting to make a difference and driven to succeed.

Reporting to the Head of Business Transformation, this role will lead and deliver core elements of this transformation programme that have already been scoped and planned. Working across an established programme structure the successful applicant will work closely with representation across the whole business, other Project Managers and Workstream Leads. We are looking for someone with the right balance of project management, business understanding, stakeholder engagement skills and managing through business transformation experience. The Project Manager will proactively take responsibility for providing key project management services on this system implementation and utilise core skills to deliver on time and within the defined scope.

Skills/Experience and attributes:

  • Available to start in June and for the contract duration.
  • Strong project management experience aligned to business change / business process change / business process reengineering / business process modelling.
  • Formal project management qualification.
  • A track record of working with teams and managing projects by prioritizing workloads and delivering to deadlines.
  • A team player with a ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Experience of working across the entire business at enterprise level, as opposed to working on individual projects or programmes.
  • Experience of supporting and managing change effectively
  • Thorough knowledge of process and system design, implementation and operation as well as benefits management experience
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to challenge, coordinate, collaborate and ultimately drive aspirational needs. 

Where could this role take you?

Whilst this is not currently a permanent role, in a business our size and with the transformation we are going through, there is a possibility that this could either be extended, or other opportunities may arise; many of our talented colleagues started at Paradigm as temporary/interim and have gone on to forge successful careers with us. However, if something longer term doesn’t materialise, you will still gain valuable experience which will add to your employability in this and similar fields.
