Your role will be to provide a safe warm, caring and stable environment for children and young people between 11 – 17 years for whom residential accommodation is the preferred or necessary option.
You will create a culture and ethos within the home in which the needs of the young people are paramount, and they are encouraged to develop, mature and grow.
The team at Willow Vue work consistently in order to provide the best possible care to the young people they work with. The home is currently rated 'good' with Ofsted. The service is committed to the on-going personal development of staff.
14 nights over a 28-day period. 10 hour shifts 21.45 to 07.45 To work as part of a rota, including weekends and Bank Holidays evenings as required. This role involves working as waking night shift cover within a six bedded children's home.
The post is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (amended in 2013). Appointable candidates will be required to apply for a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Information provided by you or the DBS will be dealt with in a confidential manner and in accordance with the DBS Code of Practice which can be viewed here.
