The Company

Adaptive IT Solutions a reseller of technology solutions with a T/O of circa £3M has a strong track record of providing professional IT services throughout all commercial markets, predominantly within the Healthcare sector.

We are actively seeking a Managing Director (MD) to report directly to the shareholders of Adaptive IT Solutions and is responsible for the overall success of the business. The Managing Director ensures the company is constantly moving towards fulfilling its short term and long-term objectives while keeping to the strategic guidelines. In this role you will have significant capacity to drive results through your own actions and guiding your team to success. You will be responsible for the growth and development of your team with the best and brightest professionals.

Managing Director Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic advice to the shareholders so that they will have an accurate view of the market and the company’s future
  • Carry out market research and analysis to form detailed business tactics on commercial opportunities (e.g., business development, expansion, etc.)
  • P&L responsibility
  • Prepare and implement comprehensive business plans to YOY revenue increases.
  • Oversees the sales and execution strategy to reach budgeted targets as established during business planning/budgeting process
  • Develop commercial strategies and lead on contractual negotiations
  • Developing and managing key strategic accounts and ensuring their needs are met
  • Helping the sales team build and maintain a healthy and successful opportunity pipeline
  • Hire, mentor, train and retain the sales team to create a high performing team
  • Managing the performance of the sales team by offering direction, instructions and coaching
  • Solicit, close and contract business using strong negotiating skills and creative selling techniques
  • Ensure a positive work environment
  • Delegate responsibilities and supervise the work of executives providing coaching, guidance and motivation to drive maximum performance
  • Act as the public speaker and public relations representative of the company in ways that strengthen its profile

You will receive (Basic + Bonus):

£ 85k - £ 100k + Car.
