We are looking to recruit an experienced Installations Manager who has a good knowledge of the Window Industry. You will be overseeing our Fitting teams work, overcoming installation issues and have a calm and capable approach when dealing with our customers. At the same time, you would be required to deal with Trade clients and therefore have an understanding of window designs, measuring & pricing skills.

Responsibilities and Duties

Your role will involve daily contact with our Fitting teams, to ensure they have all necessary requirements on site. During the installation you will be required to check our Fitters work and assist with any queries they may have. Discussions with our Surveyor to be aware of what the jobs entail. Contact with our clients before and during the installation process, acting as the main contact once the job is sold.

Regular communication with our Production Manager to be aware of what jobs we are working on.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience in window fitting, to be able to check our fitters work on site
• Good trouble shooting skills
• Capable of dealing with our clients face to face
• Experience of all aspects of modern glazed windows and doors
• Experience in selling windows, working off either a price list or computer program.
• Excellent communication skills, both on the telephone, email, and verbally
• A methodical and thorough approach to work with an excellent attention to detail
• Excellent organisational and diary management skills
• An ability to prioritise workload and stay calm under pressure
• A great team player with a desire to show initiative
• Good working knowledge of Word
• Be assertive, honest, and reliable
• Industry related experience and knowledge of FENSA essential
• Valid full UK driving license
• Capable of measuring windows for pricing purposes
