The Jack Petchey Foundation is a dynamic Foundation, set up in 1999 by Sir Jack Petchey CBE to inspire and motivate young people and recognise them for their achievements. To date, the Foundation has invested over £145 million in young people across London and Essex.
This is an exciting time to join our team, as we work to ensure that young people across London and Essex are recognised for their achievements and supported to be the best that they can be.
About the role
We are looking for 2 enthusiastic people to join our dynamic Grants Team and help expand our grant programmes. The focus of the role will be to support Schools and Youth Organisations in either North West and West London OR East London and Uniformed Groups to run the JPF Achievement Award Scheme and associated JPF programmes.
The role will require you to develop membership of the JPF Achievement Award Scheme, promoting this to Schools and Youth Organisations that are not currently part of the scheme, as well as identifying growth and expansion for those already on the scheme. You will also be responsible for promoting, assessing and managing other JPF small grants and programmes, as well as representing the foundation at a large number of prestigious where we celebrate young people’s achievements.
About the person
You will be a team player who can demonstrate a close alignment with JPF values, strong communication and organisational skills and the ability to think creatively and analytically.
You will need to be flexible and be able to work in a fast paced, varied and diverse office.
