General Catering Assistants – Port of Felixstowe

The venue operates 7 days a week with a working pattern 5 over 7 encompassing breakfast, lunch, dinner, hot snacks and homemade bakes.
Responsibilities:
To assist the chef with general kitchen duties
Assist with the day to day operations of all catering services, to produce food that is to the required standard
Excellent customer service during customer interaction
Operation of the till, processing card payments
Adhering to all Health and Safety Legislation including Allergens and Natasha’s Law
General cleaning duties throughout the day
Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years’ catering experience
Food Safety Level 2 Certificate
Allergen Certificate
The ability to work under pressure and stay calm
To work within a team
High standard of personal hygiene
