The role:

We are looking for a practical person to join our working at height safety team, installing and maintaining a variety of permanent access and fall protection equipment alongside a lead engineer.

You will form part of a 2-man site installation team, installing, maintaining and repairing permanent access equipment, such as; fall restraint and fall arrest safety wire systems, fixed access ladders, fixed and freestanding handrail systems, gantries and walkways.

The role will require traveling to and from destinations over the Southeast with the majority of work in London and around the M25 area. You will meet up with the lead engineer on the way to the job and travel in a company vehicle.

Essential Skills:

  • Ability to follow and comply with strict safe working practices and follow job instructions.
  • Reliable with good organisational skills.

  • Practical orientation and able to work at heights.
  • Numerate and literate with good attention to detail.
  • Flexibility and positive approach to working away from home when needed.
  • Full Clean Driving License.

Desirable:

  • Experience within the Work at Height industry.
  • Experience with the installation/testing of fall arrest products; Access Ladders, Safety Lines, Abseil Posts, Eyebolts etc.
