Southfield Engineering & Calibration Services Ltd. are a family run business that was established in 2002. Based in Nottinghamshire we are a leading name for Electrical Testing and Tool Calibration services, supporting clients operating in many types of industries throughout the U.K.

We as a company are primarily based in the electrical testing and inspection market but do offer a wide range of electrical solutions to our very broad and diverse client base.

Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, hardworking, and skilled Electrician/Test & Inspection Engineer, to our electrical team.

Our Ideal Candidate:

• You must be qualified to at least C&G 2382 (17th Edition), C&G 2391/2395 (or equivalent) and have at least 2 years of electrical testing experience.
• A full and current driving licence is essential. Knowledge of electrical testing software (Easycert/Amtech) would be extremely advantageous.
• Other desired (but not essential) qualifications/skills are, C&G 2377 (PAT testing) (or equivalent), IT literate (Excel, Word, Outlook etc.), Fire alarm/Emergency lighting testing experience and excellent communication skills.

The position will mostly require working away from home (usually 2-3 nights per week), where you will get overnight accommodation (pre booked and paid for) and a breakfast/evening meal allowance. We do also have local work too.
