Role Snapshot… this is an exciting opportunity to continue and develop our innovative pilot service and deliver first-line support to business enquiries for information and advice in the Councils’ new Business Regulatory Support Hub service.

Using your experience and initiative and using your excellent communication skills, you will deliver a first-class advice service to our existing local businesses and prospective new business start-ups to deliver the maximum support, in terms of advice and support requirements, to help them succeed and prosper.

You will work to identify and promote value-added services to businesses, at the right time when start-ups or existing enterprises could gain the most benefit from our bespoke support.

Working closely with specialist officers in the Regulatory Service and Economic Development Team, you’ll design and enhance the provision of information and advice packages, signposting to business compliance support and grants, and improve our self-help support materials, including content on the Councils’ joint website.

What you could be part of…

By developing our new Business Regulatory Support Hub service, we aim to encourage positive growth in businesses and access to our specialist and bespoke support and advice.

Our Regulatory services have vital roles and a strong ethic to protect the public, help businesses to prosper and grow, and to ensure a fair and level business playing field.

Our Economic Development services promote our areas as a place that businesses want to invest in and grow, by attracting investment and supporting a dynamic economy.  By bringing our respective business regulatory information and advice services together with the development of a collaborative new Business Regulatory Support Hub, you will be at the heart of finding out what works to help individual businesses and make Broadland and South Norfolk the best place in which to do business and to work.

This is a great opportunity to play a key role in the One Team delivery of our business-focused services, across a wide range of business sectors.  You will be working closely with great teams of committed and passionate fellow professionals.

As the Hub Coordinator, you will be empowered to both make day-to-day decisions and manage your own work with support on-hand from managers and colleagues.

You will be based at Carrowbreck House, to support the day to day running of the Carrowbreck House training facility, including locking/unlocking of the building, as well as ensuring the hospitality for room hire and training courses is efficient and organised.
