A new opportunity exists for a talented ASB & Fraud Officer to join our dynamic Neighbourhood Services team. 

About the role:

The role is responsible for delivering a customer focused housing management and Anti-Social behaviour service to all our existing and new customers.  Working closely with other teams, you will be responsible for the high standard of Customer Service that is responsive to our customer’s needs.  We work with our customers and communities to change lives and we are committed to tackling anti-social behaviour in a responsive and robust way. 

Our approach is victim-centered, working collaboratively with partner agencies to tackle the causes and effects of ASB under a consistent, clear, firm but fair approach. We adopt a three-strand approach – using preventative measures to prevent instances from the outset, supporting victims experiencing ASB and taking enforcement action against perpetrators where appropriate.

About you:

  • You should be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of social housing and anti-social behaviour.

  • You will ideally hold professional membership (Chartered Institute of Housing, CIH) or hold a Level 2 qualification relevant to the post (Level 2 NVQ or GSCEs) and have experience of using Orchard Housing Management system. (Desirable)

  • You will be a highly motivated individual who is able to manage a workload of ASB cases and you will be a confident communicator who can handle conflict well and make decisions with ease whilst keeping the customer’s needs as the main focus.

  • You will have excellent IT skills and will be able to use them for performance reporting and management.

  • You will have experience of working with the public and communities within an ASB role or similar.

Due to the nature of the role it is essential that you have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle with business insurance and a basic DBS clearance.
