The Area Housing Manager will lead a team of Housing Officers ensuring that tenancy, support and neighbourhood services are delivered successfully. You will ensure rental service charge income is maximised and ensure empty homes are let quickly, reducing rent loss. You will ensure that we are doing the basics brilliantly and monitor the quality and legal compliance of our cases and the feedback from our customers about our tenancy services.
The teams will need to form quickly, and our Housing Officers will need collaborative, professional role models to lead by example and create a great culture. The successful candidate will have excellent people management, report writing skills and outstanding communication skills. They will have previous experience in management of people and extensive knowledge of housing and related legislation. Use of MS Office, managing a team and previous experience of budget management is vital for this role.
Satisfactory DBS check and maintain a full driving licence with business insurance cover, and access to a car is essential for this post.
