Salary: £20,000 pro-rata (subject to relevant experience)

Hours: Minimum 4 – 6 hours daily, dependent on requirements

Location: Wivelsfield, Haywards Heath

Job Description:

Due to an expanding workload, there is an opportunity for an extremely motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our small but busy team, based near Haywards Heath in Sussex.

We are looking for someone to take charge of our Enquiries Desk, sales and order administration, supporting our Project Manager and managing our various Health & Safety and ISO 9001 accreditations. Specific construction industry experience of these aspects would be a great advantage, although assistance and full training is available.

We are a well-established company who design and install bespoke structural and architectural glass, mainly into churches and historic buildings but also serving the commercial and domestic markets. This is an interesting and varied job role with the opportunity to become an essential part of our team.

Your main duties will be:

• First point of contact for telephone and email enquiries

• Tracking jobs from quotation to installation

• Supporting our Project Manager with ordering and delivery

• Managing our accreditations as necessary

• General office administration

• Ad-hoc tasks when required

Our ideal candidate would meet the following criteria:

• Be organised and proactive with a friendly attitude

• Works well within a team and independently when required

• Confident telephone manner

• Enthusiasm to learn about our products

• Good computer skills, particularly email, Excel and Word
