Role Snapshot… Do you want to be a key player in a team with the responsibility of driving forward the smooth and efficient operation of the SNC Leisure Kids Camp provisions? This role involves being the direct line manager for all operational staff delivering Kids Camp activities, ensuring the safe environment of the activities. The challenge will be to surpass the previous team's achievements and ensure the leisure service is fit for the future…

The main base of work is split between Long Stratton and Wymondham Leisure Centres, but you will need to work at other Leisure sites from time to time.

What you’ll be doing…

  • Manage and develop the core activities of Kids Camp to maximise the occupancy and deliver profitable schemes across all sites.
  • Support the Leisure Management team in in the roll out of new initiatives and play an active role in enhancing existing services.
  • Professional recruitment of quality staff that at all times demonstrate the core behaviours and values of SNC/BDC.
  • Be the OFSTED responsible person for SNC Kids Camp.
  • Build relationships with third party organisations to maximise outreach opportunities and increase income generation.
  • Review member/customer feedback to ensure that customer service meets the expectation of the customers.
  • Work within all budgetary requirements including establishment costs. Working with the Quality & Safety Manager to set income targets for all aspects of the business whilst continually striving to achieve targets and maximise occupancy.
  • Develop the activities team through effective leadership and management.
  • Ensure all activities are operated in accordance with health and safety legislation and achieve a high QUEST and OFSTED rating.
  • Support the leisure centres, including CSA and management teams, to ensure all activities are set up correctly on the system, and ensure that all staff are fully briefed and trained on the products we sell.

You must have… Educated to at least GCSE Level, including Maths and English. Hold recognised qualifications in relation Kids Camp or be able to obtain these. Demonstrable experience in either Kids Camp, childcare, leisure/fitness or educational environments at managerial level.
