This vacancy as arisen due to an internal promotion, which is a regular occurrence at Paradigm. You may want to further develop your career in Accounts Payable / Finance or, you may want to continue doing a great job in Accounts Payable without a desire to progress and be the go-to person for your client group and colleagues. Working in our Payments Team of six within our considerable sized Finance Directorate of around 60 people, you will be responsible for your own area of suppliers within the Payments team. Maintaining good relationships with the suppliers and internal staff, keeping the invoices up to date and processed in a timely manner. The successful person will preferably have some experience in a high-volume Accounts Payable environment. You will be confident, positive and have an enthusiastic manner with a proven track record of working well as part of a team.
Ideally you will have the following qualities and experience:
- Highly organised with a ‘can do’ approach and the ability to prioritise and multitask due to a high-volume workload and tight deadlines.
- Have end to end accounts payable experience, from processing invoices to resolving queries and preparing invoices for payment.
- Meticulous and accurate attention to detail.
- A confident communicator with a good telephone manner and able to build relations with suppliers and internal colleagues alike, taking ownership and resolving issues to deliver a high level of customer service.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft suite, accounting and I.T. systems with strong excel skills.
